6. Be strong and consume courage (Psalm 27:13-14; 31:24).
I’ve unearthed that certainly one of my biggest battles in long periods of waiting is fighting fear and all its buddies like anxiety, fretfulness, and stress. A vocals during my mind asks, let's say this occurs? Imagine if Jesus does answer my prayers n’t? It's the gospel which have taught me personally that suffering power and courage will not be present in myself however in Christ. I will be empowered become courageous whenever:
- We meditate regarding the rule that is sovereign power of God along with his abundant goodness in delivering a Savior to create me clear of sin.
- I recall that my “light momentary affliction is finding your way through us an eternal fat of glory beyond all comparison” (2 Corinthians 4:17).
Jesus stated, you or forsake you. “ I shall never ever leave” Ever. He could be Immanuel, God with us. That’s a promise which will maintain us as we wait for his triumphant return while we wait for answers to prayer, but even more!
7. View it as an opportunity to experience God’s goodness (Psalm 27:13; Lamentations 3:25).
Whenever my focus is on my dilemmas and just exactly what Jesus has or has not yet given me, i will be susceptible to grumbling, complaining, discontentment, bitterness, and selfishness. Me the most comfort, happiness, and gratification in this life, then anything that threatens these things will tempt me to question God’s love and goodness when I define goodness by what brings.

For people who have eyes to see, periods of waiting offer countless opportunities to witness Jesus at the job in and through us for the eternal good along with his glory.
